Hanover Project is a brand new contemporary art gallery in Hanover building at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). The space, run by a steering group comprising Fine Art students, is open to members of the public, staff and students from 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday.

The gallery presents students with an opportunity to work alongside professional artists. It provides live-work experiences, promotes networking, and engages students in their chosen field. Exhibiting artists have so far given presentations, co-ordinated film screenings, led workshops and arranged performance events for students, staff and members of the public to enjoy and participate in. Students have been eager to volunteer as gallery invigilators and installation assistants, providing them with the valuable skills and knowledge needed for their future careers as arts professionals.

Hanover Project is supported by the Contemporary Arts Development Group (CADG).
